Teacher Slams

Teacher Slam Sessions are fast-paced, dynamic sessions with multiple speakers; each presenter has 8 minutes to cover 8 slides on a single topic. Topics may include, but are not limited, to: 

• Teaching tips
• Ideas for collaboration
• Engagement strategies
• Instructional strategies
• Class activities
• Lesson plans
• Assessment ideas
• Behavioral interventions
• Technology tips

These sessions should focus on practical ideas for immediate use by classroom teachers. Teacher slams are only to be presented by classroom practitioners and not by higher education professionals. 

Student Poster Presentations (Kaleidoscope) 

Kaleidoscope provides graduate students the opportunity to present professionally and receive feedback from faculty reviewers. It also provides professional development opportunities tailored to future teacher educators. Students are able to share their research and literature reviews.
